A VPN client will run on virtually any semi modern device. It should be noted that the CPU power required for OpenVPN encryption scales based on how much throughput is going through the OpenVPN tunnel. Some older smartphones and all but the latest high end home based routers like the Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 will notice a substantial slowdown when using OpenVPN to connect to LiquidVPN. This is because your devices processor was not created with heavy encryption in mind. We recommend using L2TP on these types of devices if the OpenVPN speed is not satisfactory.
