Here is the steps to remove Liquid Viscosity from your Mac OSX.
In most cases quitting Liquid Viscosity and dragging the application icon to the trash is enough to remove it from your system.
/Applications/Liquid Viscosity.app
When troubleshooting Liquid Viscosity installation/upgrade issues it is recommended to "start fresh" by removing all of the Liquid Viscosity data from your Mac.
Open a terminal ( /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app) and enter the following commands. If you get file not found errors it is okay. Just keep going.
sudo launchctl unload "/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.sparklabs.ViscosityHelper.plist"
sudo rm "/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.sparklabs.ViscosityVPPHelper.plist"
sudo rm "/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.sparklabs.ViscosityVPPHelper"
From your Finder menu select GO while holding down the option key (ALT)
Remove your preferences
Your Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.sparklabs.vpp.smrhosting.plist
Remove your user data and connections folder
Your Home Folder/Library/Application Support/ViscosityVPP_smrhosting/
Lastly Reboot your machine (IMPORTANT) before re-installing.
(Mac OS 10.6 or lower)
From your Library folder in your home drive delete the following
Remove your preferences
Your Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.sparklabs.vpp.smrhosting.plist
Remove your user data and connections folder
Your Home Folder/Library/Application Support/ViscosityVPP_smrhosting/
(Mac OS 10.7 or higher)
From your Finder menu select GO while holding down the option key (ALT)
Remove your preferences
Your Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.sparklabs.vpp.smrhosting.plist
Remove your user data and connections folder
Your Home Folder/Library/Application Support/ViscosityVPP_smrhosting/
Lastly Reboot your machine (IMPORTANT) before re-installing.
