It is very important when doing a speedtest from a website like www.speedtest.net that you do a complete test from three or more different Speedtest servers. Expecially if you have a fast connection. A lot of times the speedtest server is not setup to handle fast VPN connections. To do a complete test follow these steps after each test the only thing that you will change is the Speedtest server.


1. Login to the VPN server location of your choice and open www.speedtest.net run your first speedtest using one of the recommended servers. Once the test completes do step 2 without leaving the speedtest webpage.

2. Disconnect from the VPN server and press the "Test Again" button on the speedtest webpage.

3. Compare the results. Step 2 should give you the fastest connection you can get from that speedtest server. The results from step 1 will usually be 10% to 50% slower.

Connect back to the same VPN server location and on the speedtest.net webpage click new server and repeat the steps two more times using a different server for each test. If you are still seeing slow results please refer to this article for help.
